When shooting your photographs for each assignment you need to make sure you follow ALL the rules.

You must have a pass (each person)

You must stay on task

You cannot go into a classroom with students present

You cannot be loud and interrupt classes (avoid going by the classrooms period)

You can go outside but must stay on campus

You must be respectful

You must make sure all photos are school appropriate in content

Video Production 1
As a basic course for learning about Video Production, students will learn a wide variety of skills and terms during the semester. This course is a requirement for taking any other Video course and counts as a Fine Arts Elective. Below are links to projects students will complete in class, including instruction and requirements.

Students will research a person/topic that was influential in changing TV/film.
Using a Camera

Students will create an about me video using their camera and prior knowledge. No editing is needed.
Color in Film
Learn how important color is to making movies and the meaning behind the colors. Then create your own video based on a color while learning how to edit using a major editing program.
4 Basic Shots - ABC's of Film
Learn how important color is to making movies and the meaning behind the colors. Students will also learn the basics of editing.
Creative Camera Angles
Learn how and why to use different angles in your filming. Then create a video showing each of the different angles.
Camera Movements​
Learn the different camera movements used in film and how to fake the movement when editing the video.
Reverse Shot
The timing of dialog or reactions shots is important. Learn how to use the reverse shot and create a video showing two people talking. Or clone yourself.
