When shooting your photographs for each assignment you need to make sure you follow ALL the rules.

You must have a pass (each person)

You must stay on task

You cannot go into a classroom with students present

You cannot be loud and interrupt classes (avoid going by the classrooms period)

You can go outside but must stay on campus

You must be respectful
-
You must make sure all photos are school appropriate in content

Elements of Art in Photography
The Elements of Art are the building blocks of all Art. Using these in your photographs will lead the viewer to see your subject and to create areas of interest as well as an overall pleasing image. Not all elements are used in artwork, but one can usually find several when one studies the image more in-depth.

In this unit, students will learn how to use the Elements of Art in their photos to create interest and draw the viewer into the photo. Students will take a series of photos for each element, edit the photos to enhance them and then create a poster in Photoshop for their best representation of the Elements.

Now that you have learned about the elements of art for photography, you are going to apply this information and take your own photos.

Requirements for Photos

Must have 10 good photos for each element
-
70 photos minimum
-
Must be different from other students
-
You can use my props if needed
-
10 photos can be taken at home
-
No photos can be from a previous date (if in question, I will ask to see the metadata)

Import your images into Lightroom on the computer to enhance, adjust and crop as needed

LT: I can show my best work. I can create a poster. I can provide good examples of the Elements of Art
Students can continue to use Canva templates to create their posters. But if students already know how to use Adobe Photoshop or would like a challenge, the second video walks through how to create a poster using Photoshop.
