When shooting your photographs for each assignment you need to make sure you follow ALL the rules.

You must stay on task

You cannot go into a classroom with students present

You cannot be loud and interrupt classes (avoid going by the classrooms period)

You can go outside but must stay on campus

You must be respectful

You must make sure all photos are school appropriate in content

Video Game Design
Video Game Design course is the 2nd step in exploring the process of making games. Students learn to code their games instead of using premade games. Games are similar to Intro, but will add in levels and menus. Students will also explore 3D games.

Video Game Genres
Students will research different video game genres.

Basic Coding
Students will create a game and learn how to make their player move through coding.

Creating PickUps
Students will create a game board and then add in borders. Students will then code for a score and collecting objects.

Maze Game
Students will learn how to add in obstacles while using skills learned in the previous class and units. Students will code the game to keep score and create a menu for the game.
Animation Game
Students will learn how to animate their characters and then how to code in the animation. Students will also learn how to add in a jump for their platform game.
Side Scroller
Students will learn how to create a repeating background to have an endless game. Students will code the game for animation, score and repeating obstacles/backgrounds​
Working in 3D
Students will learn how to work in a 3D environment to build a room.

3D Character
Students will learn how to create a 3D character in order to create their next game.

Create a Terrain Game
Students will create an island with trees and ground texture. They will then add their 3D character to this terrain and create pickups as well as a Menu
Box Run Game
Students will learn how to create a multi level game in 3D
