Element of Color

LT: Understand and apply color theory concepts (monochromatic, complementary, analogous, saturation).

Analogy for Understanding: Learning color theory in photography is like learning the different "keys" in music. Once you choose your "key" (your primary color), you must learn how to play different variations—some loud and bright, some soft and muted, and some paired with "harmony" colors (analogous) or "clashing" chords (complementary) to create a complete visual symphony.
